NEW SE-CENO PRE-COAT FILTER
1.Characteristic
    (1). Pre-Coating
        Precoating is accomplished by circulation a slurry of pre-coat  
        material on the filter element.
        As pre- coat materials, diatom, cellulose and activated carbon are
        used.

    (2). Filtration
        After pre-coating, waste/dirt water and oil contaminated with
        sludge are filterred passing through the pre-coat filter element by
        feed pump.
        The filterate is filtered to 0.5um fine particle and recycled/reused.

         
    (3). Filter Back Washing
        If the sludge is filtered and built up on the Pre-coat layer,
        pressure in the filter housing is increased.
        At a certain pressure, fiter element is cleaned out by compressed
        air under back washing cycle.

        And then pre-coating cycle is re-operated and blow downed
        sludge is dryed out and removed as a cake.

   
    (4.) Filter Element
        Filter element is re-used contineously after back washing without
        changing the element.
    (5). Because all equipment are assembled on the skid, it is easily
        placed at the narrow space.

4. SEQUENCE from pre-coat to back washing

* Contineous Back Washing Sand Filter

        Characteristic
        This filter is a continuous backward up flow, deep-bed granular
        media filter.
        The filter media is continuously cleaned by recycling the sand
        internally through an airlift pipe and sand washer.
        The regenerated sand is redistributed on top of the sand bed    
        allowing for a continuous un interrupted flow of filterate and
        backwash water.
